Tiesto Is The King Of Trance 2009

Michael Jackson may be the King of Pop, but the King of Trance title goes to DJ Tiesto, whose achievements in the house and dance culture dominate over any other DJ before or after him.
Tiesto, whose real name is Tijs Verwest, is a Dutch DJ and trance music producer. He earned his nickname in his early childhood days, and the name has now become one of the top recognized musical geniuses of all time. Tiesto co-founded his producing company, Black Hole Recordings, in 1997, and worked with several other renowned DJ’s like Ferry Corsten. In fact, Tiesto first introduced Corsten and Armin Van Buuren to the mainstream world in some of his first mixes.
Despite his accomplishments hereto, the King of Trance’s career really took off after he released his remix of Delirium’s “Silence” featuring Sarah MacLachlan, which became the first ever house music track to be played on daytime radio in North America!
And the rest is history.
Tiesto is, today, one of the top DJ’s in the world. He continues to experiment with new sounds and beats, and is branching out into the mainstream music genre. He continues to break records with the unprecedented number of people in attendance at all his events.
He continues to create mixes that will forever be remembered as electronic dance music classics. And most importantly, DJ Tiesto continues to pave the way for the dance culture to thrive, innovate, and multiply.
