El Wires Serve As Black Bear Repellants For Your Campsite

Posted by ARNOLD YU on September 14, 2009.

Camping is one of the nation’s favorite vacation activities. With so many beautiful national parks here in the U.S., it’s never hard to find a beautiful spot to take a break from the city life and find refuge in Mother Nature. However, “Mother Nature” doesn’t only mean beautiful canyons, forests, and freshwater rivers- it includes wildlife that can be just as dangerous as intriguing.

Black bears, for example, are much undermined as a wildlife danger. Sure, our society may have distorted the animal into a cute, cuddly, furry bedtime favorite, but in reality, the average bear weighs around 1,000 pounds and stands about 4-6 feet tall! Although bears are rarely known to attack humans without feeling threatened, they can do lots of expensive damage to your camp site, camping equipment, cars, and personal belongings.

Since it’s always better to be safe than sorry, always take precautions to keep bears and other animals away. Keep your food hidden, keep your campsite clean, and keep loose belongings in the car whenever possible.

Also, place our el-wires around your camp sites on tree branches to keep the black bears away. Yes, we are aware that this may sound a bit weird- but it works! The luminescence of the el-wires scares black bears away from your campsite and precious belongings. One of the top reasons our customers buy el-wires is actually for this very use, and they swear that the glow really does keep the black bears, as well as other nighttime creatures, away.

And finally, the el-wires can also be used to illuminate your campsite at night, making it easy to get through and find at nighttime.

Get your El-wires here at before you head off to your next camping trip- with their versatile and numerous uses, it’s always a win-win situation!
